August 2023 – The was the wedding of Chloe & Jake at Rudding Park on the outskirts of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Rudding Park is a superb wedding venue complete with spa and indoor cinema!
Having met through mutual friends, it was destiny that this day would finally come around for Chloe and Jake. After Jake proposed to Chloe on a very romantic trip to Dubai, the rest is history, culmination in this most marvellous of wedding days at Rudding Park.
After looking at several venues, when Chloe & Jake visited Rudding Park it was no contest. Rudding Park is simply the best wedding venue in the area and is such a special venue for any couples’ wedding day.
“We chose Rudding Park for our wedding venue because it was just beautiful. The ideal venue for us as it isn’t too far from where we live and its a lovely area and exactly what we pictured. I especially liked the stair case in the venue because I always vision having pictures taken walking down the stair case with flowers wrapped around the rails.”
Planning a wedding is a big undertaking but Chloe & Jake had a very clear vision of what they wanted for their most special day and no details was overlooked.
“Colour schemes for the wedding is baby blue. Decorations such as flowers on the tables as centre pieces. welcoming sign, mirrored seating plan and blossom trees in the ceremony room as i walk down the aisle. The food is not traditional. It is a lovely menu of beef wellington, chicken breast or seabass which all the guests seemed to like when picking there menu for the day. I want the guests to feel relaxed throughout the day and enjoy themselves. Plenty of things will be happening throughout the day to keep everyone in high spirits and entertained..”
From the arrival of Jake by helicopter, all the way throughout the day until the absolutely fantastic firework display at the end of the evening, this was a fun packed day and the perfect way for Chloe & Jake to start their married life, the honeymoon however is a closely guarded secret.
“There is a honeymoon planned however Jake has planned it and Chloe doesn’t know where she is going as it is a surprise. Chloe will find out where she is going when she gets to the airport.”
Congratulations to Chloe & Jake – now enjoy the film.
Who am I?
Thanks for stopping by. I’m Pete and I’m an established wedding videographer based in the North of England, on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Filming weddings is a passion as well as a job. I am always honoured to be asked to capture a couples’ big day so they can treasure and watch it back for years to come.
Why choose me?
I often ask my couples why they selected me to film their wedding, as opposed to all the other wedding videographers out there. They almost unanimously say it’s because my work has a natural, informal feel while remaining stylish and contemporary. My background in documentary film making means that I like to film events as they happen naturally, taking a discreet approach without trying to force or fake anything.
What’s my approach?
For me, the wedding day is of course about the bride and groom, it is their big day after all. Having said that it’s not ALL about the bride and groom, but it’s also a big day for the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the ushers, the flower girl, the pageboy, the mums and dads, the brothers and sisters, the cousins, wider family and friends, you can see where I’m going with this. Everybody plays their part and not to forget to mention the suppliers: the dresses, the suits, the cake, the venue, the band, the flowers etc etc. I see it as my job to capture as much of the vibe of the day as possible, and that would not be possible without the participation of everyone mentioned above. I love capturing it all, from the anticipatory bridal preparations, through to the emotional vows, all the way up to guests throwing shapes on a packed dance floor.
Even after 15 years in this business and over 400 weddings under my belt, I still get a thrill at turning up at the venue on the morning of the wedding. Whether that is a vast country estate, or a small village church, I approach every wedding the same. I love to capture your day with the minimal amount of fuss, and to provide a beautifully crafted film that you can watch back for years to come. All the atmosphere, the emotion, and all the laughter and love. It really is a once in a lifetime, unique event that deserves to be beautifully captured.
Every couple and every wedding is different an I love getting to know my couples, hearing their stories and capturing their big day. Each time, the story of your wedding day is completely unique, and I can’t wait to tell yours.
Wherever your wedding is, from a small registry office, quaint village church, country hotel, large marquee or even a grand cathedral, get in touch for prices and to discuss your requirements. If I am free for your date we can arrange a meeting, and I can show you samples of my wedding films and talk you through the process. If you have some questions and just want a chat, then I am more than happy to have a Zoom consultation where you quiz me on any aspect of having a videographer at your wedding, just click on the Contact link at the top or bottom of this page.
